Behind my artworks.

I am a proud Filipina, born and raised in Mindanao, currently based in Metro Manila. Growing up as an ate to my four sisters and a breadwinner, I explored all means to support my family. And that always involved art.

As a high school student, I sold my hand drawings at the back of PNOC calendars, then went home to help my seamstress mom. My mom taught me how to sew, and cut and eventually inspired me to explore the art of designing and making gowns from scratch.

I created gowns as another source of income and fulfillment while exploring other creative ways such as photography, graphic design, and website design and programming. That's when I established my travel and photography blog, which once topped the Philippines' web traffic.

My full-time job has given me so much more opportunity to explore the realms of creative expression and I learned to bake, starting with creating cute meringues to beautiful buttercream cakes.

Over the years, I have developed a playful and diverse approach to art by incorporating one or two techniques that I’ve picked up from my experience. While being very intentional about the feel and message of the art I am making, I also love being intuitive and following my curiosity to arrive at something unique and out of the box.

Words are not enough to express the magic of our messages. My art shows my thoughts that words fail to describe, and I would be delighted for you to find your meaning and connections in it. Whichever angle you look at it, I hope it will always share an abundance of beautiful emotions with you.
